Settling in Belfort and Montbéliard

When should I arrive?

The university cycle begins in early September. An informative back-to-school meeting is normally organized during the first week of the course. The exact dates are communicated by the student affairs department after confirmation of university enrolment.
The best thing is to arrive a few days before the information meeting to settle in and complete the registration, insurance and migration procedures if necessary.

How to get to Belfort or Montbéliard

By air

The nearest airports to Belfort-Montbéliard are Strasbourg and Basel-Mulhouse airports. From these airports, buses, trains and taxis are available to take you to Belfort or Montbéliard.

From Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg Airport (EAP), we suggest using the regular bus shuttle to Saint Louis station (Haut Rhin) and continue by train to Belfort and Montbéliard via Mulhouse.
